Window printing project as part of ‘Les Grands Magasins’ organized by project space ‘La Plate-Forme’ for Dunkerque regional cultural capital.

Context: The project took place in an abandoned large shopping mall in the city center and was echoing the infamous ‘London riots’ from 2011.
Source material: (1) signage used by surrounding shops to announce their latest SALES campaign. (2) extracts from the poem ‘Ballade des contradictions’ by 14th writer Francois Villon: I die of thirst right at the fountains edge, As warm as fire, and tooth to tooth I shake , While close to home I’m in a distant land.
